Cody

Born in Livermore, California at the close of the 80's and lived in the Bay Area until 8 years old at which point I went from Louisville, Kentucky to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and back to Dublin, California for High School.

While attending Dublin High School my grandfather introduced me to the bikes with funny shaped handlebars that we all know to be road bikes and a casual hobby led to competitive junior racing careers alongside team's such as Team Discovery's junior racers.

The addiction to cycling led to other disciplines such as BMX and Mountain Biking which naturally led to finding employment at Dublin Cyclery. I started with taking out the trash, building kids bikes, and eventually building and repairing all types of bikes, but more importantly, gaining a love for anything and everything bike related!

After High School, I found myself moving to New Hampshire without a whole lot of direction and decided to join the United States Air Force to become a backup power generator mechanic. I spent a total of six years in the Air Force and deployed to Afghanistan on a special engineering team as one of the top generator mechanics for US and NATO forces.

While in Afghanistan I traveled throughout the country helping out many nations special forces units with maintaining and setting up power, along with providing support and closing many bases for the drawdown.

After my time in the military, I moved back to New Hampshire where I worked as an assistant manager for 365 Cycles for many years while also attending college for degrees in fine arts and applied sciences of electrical engineering.

Next, I decided to move back to California where I found myself back at the bike shop where it all started for me as one of the primary mechanics. Shortly after moving back the pandemic started which brought on one of the busiest times in the bicycle industry! After a few years in California, I made the decision to move to Denver, Colorado and started working for Epic-Cycles. Now I have the pleasure of being the service manager for our Denver location and get to spend everyday doing what I love! Come on in to talk bikes and gear with me and I'll be happy to build your next custom bike!
